OAO RBC Information Systems and Aton Capital completed the first Russian initial public offering (IPO) on two domestic exchanges (MICEX and RTS). The placing volume was 16 million shares at $0.83 or RUR25.86 each. According to preliminary data, the share issue was five times oversubscribed as investors submitted orders worth over $64m. This IPO enabled RBC to attract a total of $13.28m. The shares were purchased by domestic companies, foreign institutional and corporate investors, investment funds and private investors.
