On February 17 a new mass media source appeared on the Internet. RBC released the first issue of the daily analytical business newspaper RBC Daily. This project is first of all targeted at business readers and it will be devoted to analyses of situations in different sectors of Russia's economy and leading companies in the country.

According to the press release of the newspaper, the priority of RBC Daily is the coverage of such topics as the development of Russian business (business conflicts and ways of solving them, competition, unfair business practices), the place of Russian business in the world and its outlooks for the future, the most profitable directions for developing business in Russia and abroad and interaction of business and the state.
