RosBusinessConsulting finalized the development of a Russian web site for METRO Cash & Carry (www.metro-cc.ru). The web site creation was timed to the opening of the first two sales areas of METRO Cash & Carry in Moscow. The company's preliminary developmental plan provides for the opening of 6 METRO Cash & Carry stores in the Russian capital in 2001 and 2002.

In the middle of September METRO Cash & Carry held a tender among well-known Russia e-solution providers. This tender was awarded to RosBusinessConsulting. The web site of the company was developed over a short period of time. The site at www.metro-cc.ru was the first step in coopreration between RBC and METRO Cash & Carry.

METRO Cash & Carry was established in Germany in 1964. Presently, it is a member of the world's third trading group Metro AG, which was formed after a merger between METRO Cash & Carry, Kaufhof Holding AG and Asko Deutsche Kaufhaus AG.
