The RosBusinessConsulting (RBC) company has published preliminary, un-audited results for 2002. In accordance with a report released by the company, its revenues amounted to $27.6m, and the net profit reached $9.5m. The revenues rose by 62 percent, compared to those of 2002, mostly due to an increase in the volume of services in the information technologies sector and a growth in the volume of sold advertising space. According to information from RBC, the revenues that the company received from the information technologies sector reached $12.97m (including $3m from offshore programming). The revenues from information services were up 15 percent and reached $2.4m. The revenues from advertising services increased by 57 percent to $12.15m. RBC offered 16 percent of its shares at MICEX and on the RTS simultaneously last year and received a sum of $13.28m. The number of members of staff of RBC reached 790 people in 2002, mostly due to people hired for a new business TV project, which will be presented in March 2003.
