A joint news conference by the RBC SOFT company, a developer of IT solutions, and Icebit, the largest supplier of frozen products to the markets of Moscow and the Moscow Region, was held on January 29. The news conference was devoted to questions of the use of high technologies in trade. According to speakers of the conference, competitiveness of companies on the Russian market is now determined by the efficiency of their work, which can be increased by hi-tech means.

A system based on the platform RBC Trade was used to ensure the complex computerization of Icebit. It allows the computerizing of all activities within the company, including its interaction with clients, suppliers, as well as managing the company's payables, receivables and warehouse, as well as carrying out other activities. 50 jobs were computerized in the company, which required seven months.
