RBC's General Director Yury Rovensky has been appointed board member of the Russian Union of Industrialists and Entrepreneurs (RSPP).

The motion was carried unanimously at the union's latest board meeting. The union's cooperation with RBC is likely to be productive, remarked RSPP President Alexander Shokhin. Shokhin also called attention to RBC's contribution to Russian business development, including the country's first business television channel.

The union's President also mentioned the numerous international events organized by RBC, including the recent Shanghai-based business conference .
