A ceremony of awarding the laureates of the “Company of the Year-2004” national business prize, founded by RosBusinessConsulting, was held yesterday. The Expert Council declared the Russneft company Discovery of the Year. The KNC company (a subsidiary of the Sistema corporation) received a prize in a new category “Breakthrough of the Year.” The Russian Bank for Development has become Bank of the Year. The number of categories has been decreased from 37 to 34 since last year. The list of winners has changed almost completely, as just three of the 2003 laureates managed to remain on the list. East Line Group this time received a prize for creating Russia’s best transport center. PioGlobal Asset Management, which was declared the best investment company a year ago, won a prize in the category “Trust Company of the Year” this year.
