| RBC begins registering domain names in .biz zone
RosBusinessConsuting began registering domain names in the .biz zone. This is an important step forward and will resolve the problem of domain deficit that occurred due to overfilling of the traditional .com, .net and .org zones. The .biz zone is designated for commercial web sites and gives the possibility of registering attractive and easy-to-use domain names.
Earlier, RBC began registering domain names in one of the new domain zones .info. The demand for this service exceeded analysts' expectations, which proves the necessity of new zones. Several new domain zones will be launched in the future, i.e. .name, .pro, .aero, .museum and .coop.
RBC continues registering domain names in the .com, .net and .org zones in the languages of CIS and Baltic countries in its Moscow and Saint Petersburg offices. The registration of domain names in the .biz zone is conducted in accordance with an agreement signed between RBC and the RU-CENTER company, established by RosNIIROS.
