LUKoil-Arctic-Tanker becomes new partner of RBC
RBC started the development of a corporate Internet site for LUKoil's subsidiary - LUKoil-Arctic-Tanker, one of the largest ship-owners in Russia that provides deliveries of oil and oil products along the North sea route and in other regions.
Visitors of the new Internet site would be offered information on technical characteristics of tankers of the LUKoil-Arctic-Tanker fleet and pictures of them. In addition to sections about the company's history, services and projects, the site will include such sections as The development of shipbuilding in Russia and The history of conquering the North sea route. "A contemporary high-quality corporate Internet site is necessary for any serious company, however, opportunities offered by the Internet could and should be used more thoroughly," deputy general director of LUKoil-Arctic-Tanker Igor Sidorenko noted. "I hope we will continue working in this direction together with RBC".
The open joint-stock venture LUKoil-Arctic-Tanker was established in 1994 and a year later it occupied leading positions on the market of oil product supplies to the Arctic and Far North regions. The company owns the youngest tanker fleet consisting of eight strengthened ice-class tankers (Perm, Volgograd, Saint. Petersburg, Maikop, Murmansk, Astrakhan, Magas and Kaliningrad). LUKoil-Arctic-Tanker is participating in a project for sea deliveries of oil from oil fields in the Timano-Pechersky area, where the most promising oil fields are located.
