RBC and the AltaVista Company have made a partnership agreement, which provides for RBC to become a representative of AltaVista in Russia. AltaVista has come to Russia on the basis of a business model comprising sales of corporate solutions (search engines). It is different from the model of Internet portal sales of Lycos, which announced opening of its Russian office this summer.
