RBC-TV declared TV Event of the Year of 2003
The RBC television channel received an award in a special category "TV Event of the Year of 2003" at the Sixth Eurasian TV Forum.
The Sixth Eurasian TV Forum was held in Moscow from October 27 until November 1. The forum took place under the aegis of the CIS Executive Committee, the EurAsEc Integration Committee, the Foreign Ministry of Russia and the Government of Moscow. The event was organized by the Eurasian Television Academy.
Valentin Lazutkin is the president of the Eurasian Television Forum. Moscow Mayor Yury Luzhkov was the chairman of the Organizational Committee of the forum this year, and Eduard Sagalayev, the president of the National Association of TV and Radio Broadcasting Companies, was the chairman of the jury. Dozens of TV and video companies from the CIS, Baltic countries, Bulgaria, Germany, Israel and the Czech Republic took part in the forum.
