State Duma not to sack CEC chief
RBC, 27.01.2012, Moscow 17:37:07.State Duma has approved a statement assessing the December 2011 parliamentary elections without demanding the resignation of Central Election Commission (CEC) Chairman Vladimir Churov. The document was signed by all party groups in the lower house of the parliament, with the exception of Just Russia. Earlier, the parliamentary committee on constitutional legislation rejected a draft statement expressing no confidence in Churov, submitted by Communist Party of Russia, Liberal Democratic Party of Russia and Just Russia.
