Rusal to downsize production due to economic environment
RBC, 27.01.2012, Moscow 16:26:13.UC Rusal, one of the world's largest aluminum and alumina producers, may cut aluminum output by 6% over the next 18 months, a spokesperson for the company said. The decline is attributable to the unfavorable global economic environment. Rusal produced 3.06m tons of aluminum in January-September 2011, up 1% year-on-year, according to earlier reports.
