Evraz rolls back share swap deadline
RBC, 27.01.2012, Moscow 13:01:27.U.K.-registered Evraz plc, the new holding company of Russian metals and mining consortium Evraz Group, has extended until February 7 the swap of shares in Evraz Group S.A. for its own shares, the company said in a press release today. The company also reiterated that the GDRs of Evraz Group S.A. would be delisted from the London Stock Exchange (LSE) on February 8. In October 2011, the company decided to relocate its registration to the U.K. from Luxemburg and offered investors to swap the shares of Luxemburg-registered Evraz Group S.A. for those of U.K.-registered Evraz plc. As of Thursday, 99.89% of shareholders had turned in their shares for the swap. The trading of Evraz plc's shares on LSE began on November 7, 2011.
