Ukraine to have its gas system appraised soon
RBC, 26.01.2012, Kiev 14:57:11.Ukraine's national oil and gas company Naftogaz of Ukraine will soon announce a tender to appraise the country's gas transportation system, the company's press office reported today. Energy and Coal Industry Minister Yury Boyko earlier said that the tender would be announced on January 19. Ukraine would like to form a trilateral consortium, including the European Union and Russia, to manage its pipeline system, Boyko said on January 18. Under the previous appraisal, Ukraine's gas pipeline system was worth in the range of $20bn-$50bn.
