Russia's GDP up 4.2% in H1
RBC, 09.09.2010, Moscow 12:54:44.Russia's GDP amounted to RUB 20.733 trillion (approx. USD 671.62bn) in current prices in the first six months of 2010, showing a 4.2-percent increase from the corresponding period of the previous year, the Russian Federal Statistics Service (Rosstat) reported today. In the second quarter alone, GDP stood at RUB 10.859 trillion (approx. USD 351.77bn), 5.2 percent greater than in Q2 2009. GDP growth against Q1 amounted to 8 percent. Earlier, Rosstat announced that Russia's GDP climbed 2.9 percent in Q1 year-on-year.
