TNK-BP posts 20% rise in net profit
RBC, 08.09.2010, Moscow 11:41:10.The net profit of TNK-BP Holding under U.S. GAAP climbed 20 percent to $2.74bn in the first half of 2010 compared to $2.28bn in the corresponding period of the previous year, the Russian-British oil company indicated in a report today. Revenue amounted to $19.1bn, nearly 50 percent greater than in H1 2009 ($12.8bn). EBITDA jumped 24 percent to $4.6bn. TNK-BP's total short-term liabilities, including the sum currently due under long-term liability, shrank 70 percent to $189m compared to $634m at the end of 2009. The total long-term liabilities stood at $1.27bn as of June 30, having decreased from $1.59bn as of December 31, 2009.
