Gazprombank places Eurobonds
RBC, 30.07.2010, Moscow 11:52:37.Gazprombank placed a Eurobond issue worth $500m on Thursday. The interest rate has been set at 6.25 percent, and the bonds are to be redeemed in December 2014, the lending institution announced in a statement today. The bank is poised to use the proceeds from the placement of Eurobonds for general corporate purposes, including increasing the loan portfolio. Barclays Capital, RBS and UBS are acting as lead managers for the issue. "We are quite satisfied with the results of the placement: the bank's successful Eurobond issue has once again confirmed the trust of international investors in Gazprombank," the lending organization's press office reported citing deputy chairman of the bank's executive board Alexei Obozintsev.
