Rosneft denies export payments freeze
RBC, 18.03.2010, Moscow 14:45:38.Rosneft has refuted rumors of 'a freeze on all payments' for oil exports due to Yukos Capital S.a.r.l's lawsuit, the company announced in a statement today. The statement also indicated that the company was fulfilling all of its obligations on supplies of oil and oil products, including those under export contracts. "There are no bans on payments in the U.S. for supplied oil, and any such announcements are nothing more than carefully planned deceptions." At the same time, Rosneft confirmed that Yukos Capital (former YUKOS subsidiary) was currently taking steps to effect certain arbitration rulings that were overruled by Russian courts.
