Aeroflot to boost passenger traffic by 2011
RBC, 09.02.2010, Moscow 15:10:19.Aeroflot - Russian Airlines plans to increase its passenger traffic to 17 million people by 2011, the company's General Director Vitaly Savelyev told reporters today. He stated that such an increase would become possible after the company incorporated the assets of Rossiya - Russian Airlines that were due to be transferred. Savelyev reiterated that Aeroflot transported about 11 million people per year, and another 7 million were transported by the company's subsidiaries. Passenger traffic is expected to increase thanks primarily to greater transit passenger transportation.
