Russia posts monthly budget surplus
RBC, 09.02.2010, Moscow 14:13:44.Russia's federal budget surplus amounted to RUB 66.123bn (approx. USD 2.18bn) in January 2010, the Finance Ministry indicated in a statement today. The budget's revenue reached RUB 737.56bn (approx. USD 24.28bn) in the first month of the year, or 10.6 percent of this year's target figure. Meanwhile, expenditures stood at RUB 671.437bn (approx. USD 22.1bn), or 6.8 percent of the target figure for 2010.
