Rostelecom to hike up investments
RBC, 09.02.2010, Moscow 13:40:03.Rostelecom's investments in development are expected to rise 1.5 times to nearly RUB 12bn (approx. USD 395m) in 2010 compared to the previous year, the company's General Director Anton Kolpakov told journalists in Moscow today. He indicated that last year's investments stood at about RUB 8bn (approx. USD 263m). According to Kolpakov, the company's ambitious investment program is aimed at strengthening the infrastructure with a view to form a single operator. Investments are expected to be financed from the company's own funds. "The company has sufficient funds to implement its investment program. It also has security resources," Kolpakov explained.
