Russia sees drop in revenue from gas exports
RBC, 08.02.2010, Moscow 13:45:21.Russia's revenue from natural gas exports plunged 1.69 times to $39.381bn in 2009 compared to the previous year, the Federal Customs Service reported today. At the same time, the actual amount of exported gas fell 13.5 percent to 150.7bn cubic meters in 2009 against 2008. Exports to countries outside the CIS shrank 23.1 percent to 120.5bn cubic meters, while exports to the CIS jumped 1.9 times - to 30.3bn cubic meters.
