Russian Bank for Development continues lending program
RBC, 08.02.2010, Moscow 12:36:10.The Russian Bank for Development signed loan agreements with 79 partner banks for a total of RUB 20.22bn (approx. USD 663m) in January 2010 as part of their refinancing program, the lending institution's press office reported today. As part of the 2008 program, the bank signed loan agreements for RUB 12.37bn (approx. USD 406m) with 79 partner banks. Considering this, the total amount of loans extended by partner banks to small and medium-sized businesses (SME) exceeded 2,000. Furthermore, the Russian Bank for Development cooperates with 46 organizations that support the infrastructure of SME. As reported earlier, the bank has been implementing the SME lending support program since June 19, 2009.
