Ukraine counting ballots in presidential election
RBC, 08.02.2010, Kiev 10:36:43.With 90.18 percent of votes tallied so far in the second round of the Ukrainian presidential election, Viktor Yanukovich is in the lead with 48.49 percent of votes, the country's Central Election Commission reported. Prime Minister Yulia Timoshenko has secured 45.86 percent of all votes cast. Some 4.45 percent of ballots were submitted against all candidates, and another 1.18 percent was rejected as invalid. According to the latest data, voting activity was at 69.05 percent.
