Russia reveals oil exports in 2009
RBC, 24.11.2009, Moscow 17:08:33.According to the Russian Energy Ministry, Russia's oil exports stood at 205.3m tonnes in January-October 2009, having increased 1.4 percent from the corresponding period of 2008, the Russian Economic Development Ministry announced today in the monitoring report. In October alone, oil exports amounted to 21m tonnes, 2.9 percent more than in October 2008. At the same time, oil exports to countries outside the CIS inched up 2.7 percent to 175.1m tonnes, including 151.3m tonnes via Transneft's pipeline system. Oil exports via other pipelines jumped 44.6 percent. The CIS received 30.15m tonnes of oil, 5.7 percent less than in the first 10 months of 2008 (due primarily to lower exports to Kazakhstan). Meanwhile, oil and gas condensate production edged up 0.8 percent to 409.9m tonnes in January-October 2009.
