Russian, Vietnamese PMs review trade and economic ties
RBC, 28.10.2009, Moscow 17:20:04.During a recent telephone conversation, Russian Prime Minister Vladimir Putin and his Vietnamese counterpart Nguyen Tan Dung discussed the current standing and prospects of bilateral trade and the development of economic relations in great detail. The parties indicated that they were satisfied with the 5.7-percent rise in trade between the two countries despite the ongoing financial and economic crisis. Putin and Dung also exchanged opinions on the possibility of broader cooperation in the energy sector, as well as industrial, military and technical cooperation. The Russian PM invited his colleague to visit Russia. The dates of the visit will be agreed upon by Russian and Vietnamese officials.
