Russian banks repaying loans
RBC, 25.03.2009, Moscow 11:42:54.The Russian banks managed to pay off a total of $50bn in loans between October 1, 2008 and the present moment, Deputy Prime Minister and Finance Minister Alexei Kudrin told a conference in Moscow today. He pointed out that the banks were able to find the required funds and use them. "We have successfully prevented the bankruptcy of banks in Russia's top 100," he stated.
