Russian, Indian financial market regulators ink cooperation deal
RBC, 05.12.2008, Moscow 17:34:39.The Russian Federal Financial Markets Service and India's Securities and Exchange Board have signed a memorandum of understanding today. According to the Russian regulator, the agreement is aimed at improving the efficiency of financial markets' coordination in both countries, as well as at strengthening cooperation in the exchange of information. The Russian service has already signed similar memorandums with Brazil and China. With this in mind, today's agreement will allow Russia to work out a unified approach to financial markets regulation within the BRIC group.
