Medvedev to pay visits to India and Italy
RBC, 04.12.2008, Moscow 09:55:36.Russian President Dmitry Medvedev will embark on an official visit to India today. He is expected to meet with the country's prime minister upon his arrival. On Friday, Medvedev will hold talks with India's president, vice president, and foreign minister. As part of his visit, the Russian leader will take part in the closing ceremony of the Year of Russia in India on December 5. A package of bilateral documents is expected to be signed following the talks. On December 6, Medvedev will pay a working visit to Bari, Italy at the invitation of Italian President Giorgio Napolitano, where he will take part in the handover of the architectural complex Town Church of the Russian Orthodox Church in Bari by Italy to Russia.
