Naftogaz asks Gazprom for payment delay
RBC, 02.12.2008, Moscow 17:57:44.Naftogaz of Ukraine has asked Gazprom to grant it an extension of payments for September and part of October's natural gas supplies, official spokesman for the Russian gas monopoly Sergei Kupriyanov told the Vesti TV channel following today's talks between the parties. He noted that Ukraine had yet to pay off its gas debt for September and that negotiations on the matter would continue on Wednesday.
