SIBUR approaches Vnesheconombank for loan
RBC, 18.11.2008, Moscow 18:47:03.SIBUR Holding has asked the Bank for Development and Foreign Economic Affairs (Vnesheconombank) to lend it slightly over $100m for the refinancing of its loan portfolio, SIBUR's chief Dmitry Konov told journalists today. He explained that SIBUR had submitted all relevant documents to Vnesheconombank. According to Konov's estimates, the requested sum accounts for roughly 15 percent of the holding's total debt. This does not mean that the company is facing serious liquidity problems, Konov maintained. He noted that SIBUR regarded the move as simply another possibility of securing a loan.
