Central Bank to fund Gazprom-affiliated bank
RBC, 16.10.2008, Moscow 16:34:03.The Central Bank has decided to place a long-term $500m deposit in Gazenergoprombank, Sobinbank's press office reported today. The deposit will be made as part of the deal for the acquisition of a 100-percent stake in Sobinbank by Gazenergoprombank. The deal, mediated and supported by the Bank of Russia and the Finance Ministry, was closed on Wednesday.
