Italian company allowed to buy into Sukhoi Civil Aircraft
RBC, 10.10.2008, Moscow 18:18:03.The government commission for foreign investment control has approved a bid by the World's Wing S.A., a Swiss subsidiary of Italy's Alenia Aeronautica, to acquire 25 percent plus one share in Sukhoi Civil Aircraft Company (SCAC), head of the Federal Anti-Monopoly Service Igor Artemyev told journalists today. As reported earlier, SCAC shareholders decided to increase the company's share capital by nearly RUB 255m (approx. USD 9.78m) to some RUB 1.018bn (approx. USD 39m) by means of an additional share issue in favor of Alenia Aeronautica. In accordance with a presidential decree, the Italian company can now acquire the stake in SCAC through its subsidiary World's Wing S.A.
