Russia withdraws peacekeepers from Abkhazia
RBC, 09.10.2008, Moscow 17:37:03.Russia has fully withdrawn its peacekeeping contingent from the Georgian-Abkhaz conflict zone, the Staff of the collective CIS peacekeeping force told RBC today. According to the officials, the withdrawal has been arranged and completed in accordance with the existing agreements. The posts were transferred to representatives of the EU and UN missions, and Georgia has no claims against Russia.
