Russian stocks soar on MICEX and RTS
RBC, 19.09.2008, Moscow 10:47:59.The Russian stock market opened with a rapid increase in securities. On MICEX, VTB was the top gainer, having skyrocketed 40 percent. Meanwhile, Rosneft surged 25 percent, while Sberbank and Gazprom each rose 15 percent. The RTS index went up 5.48 percent after the first 5 minutes of the session.
