Bank of Russia and Kazakhstan sign deal
RBC, 23.07.2008, Moscow 17:33:43.The Central Bank of Russia and Kazakhstan's financial markets regulator have reached an agreement on the necessity of exchanging information on the principles of consolidated and comprehensive supervision and cooperation between the regulatory bodies of the banks, the Bank of Russia reported today. The parties are planning to swap information on licensing, supervision of the activities of cross-border entities, combating financing of terrorism, as well as the development of the banking sector. As reported earlier, the Bank of Russia has already signed similar agreements with the Central Bank of Cyprus and the Hungarian Financial Supervisory Authority.
