Medvedev signs decree to improve Civil Code
RBC, 21.07.2008, Moscow 16:29:39.Russian President Dmitry Medvedev has signed a decree to make amendments to the country's Civil Code, the Russian leader's press office reported today. The document aims at improving the legal base to secure the market economy in Russia, as well as to provide a framework for legislation regarding the country's international economic and humanitarian relations. The concept of the development of Russia's civil law envisages steps to harmonize it with EU regulations, maintain uniform legislation on civil relations in the CIS, and ensure the stability of Russian law.
