Georgia takes part in NATO military consultations
RBC, 16.07.2008, Tbilisi 16:58:01.Georgia is currently engaged in military consultations with NATO at the alliance's headquarters in Brussels, according to the Georgian Defense Ministry's press office. The head of the Georgian delegation, Deputy Defense Minister Georgy Muchaidze, plans to meet with representatives of NATO Defense Policy and Planning Division during his four-day visit, as well as with the British, Lithuanian and Italian ambassadors to NATO and the US mission Defense Advisor. During the meeting, the parties plan to discuss the progress of military reforms in Georgia, as well as Georgia's prospects for joining NATO. As reported earlier, Georgia hopes to receive a NATO membership action plan by December 2008.
