LUKoil's short-term liabilities rise
RBC, 04.06.2008, Moscow 17:56:15.LUKoil's short-term liabilities under US GAAP grew 8 percent in the first quarter of 2008 compared to the same months of the previous year, reaching $10.508bn as of March 31, the Russian oil company said in a statement today. Short-term loans fell nearly 9 percent to $2.015bn and short-term payables edged down 0.8 percent to $4.517bn. However, LUKoil's tax liabilities rose nearly 50 percent, from $2.042bn as of late 2007 to $3.052bn as of March 31, 2008.
