Bank of Russia boosts annual revenue
RBC, 16.05.2008, Moscow 19:43:43.The Russian Central Bank's revenue grew 84 percent to RUB 504.924bn (approx. USD 21.17bn) in 2007 compared to a year earlier, as stated in the regulator's annual report submitted to the State Duma today. The Bank of Russia's spending has doubled, from RUB 233.981bn (approx. USD 9.81bn) in 2006 to RUB 480.359bn (approx. USD 20.14bn) in 2007, with pre-tax profit reaching RUB 24.565bn (approx. USD 1.03bn).
