Mobile subscriptions rise in Russia
RBC, 16.05.2008, Moscow 17:34:34.The number of mobile subscribers rose 0.79 percent to 169.33m people (the number of SIM cards) in Russia in April 2008 compared to a month earlier, Advanced Communications & Media's (AC&M) monthly analytical report states. Mobile penetration amounted to 116.6 percent as of April 30. Specifically, it reached 167.4 SIM cards per 100 people in Moscow and 148.7 SIM cards per 100 people in St. Petersburg.
