Euro drops below official rate
RBC, 16.05.2008, Moscow 15:41:06.At today's special euro trading session for tomorrow deals, the weighted average euro rate stood at 36.88 RUB/EUR, RUB 0.03 below the official euro rate set by the Bank of Russia for May 17-19. The developments have been triggered by the euro's fall vs. the dollar abroad. Towards the end of today's trading session, the European currency was buying some USD 1.5460, down 0.3 percent from USD 1.5505 just after midday.
