Bank Zenit resumes placement of additional share issue
RBC, 14.05.2008, Moscow 11:29:49.Bank Zenit has continued the flotation of an additional share issue worth RUB 1.65bn (approx. USD 69.6m), the bank said in an official statement today. The offering was suspended on April 28, due to amendments to the decision regarding the issue and the prospectus. The amendments involved a change of the bank's registrar and were registered on Tuesday. The bank is planning to place 1.65bn additional shares with a par value of RUB 1 (approx. USD 0.042) each by public subscription. As a result of the flotation, the bank's share capital is expected to grow 14.29 percent to RUB 13.195bn (approx. USD 556m).
