Ukraine eyeing nuclear projects in Lithuania
RBC, 13.05.2008, Kiev 10:30:15.Ukraine is willing to engage in international projects to shut down the Ignalina Nuclear Power Plant and build a new one in Lithuania, Ukraine's President Viktor Yushchenko said in Vilnius yesterday during his meeting with Lithuania's Prime Minister Gediminas Kirkilas. In general, Ukraine is interested to expand investment cooperation with Lithuania, Yushchenko added noting that the countries had substantial potential in this respect. He suggested that Lithuanian companies could take part in road building and airport reconstruction projects in Ukraine, as the country.
