Putin sees achievement of past 8 years as breakthrough
RBC, 07.05.2008, Moscow 13:11:51.Vladimir Putin, Russia's outgoing President, believes that the past 8 years have allowed Russia to set long-term targets for 20 or even 30 years, he noted in his speech at the inauguration of Russia's third President Dmitry Medvedev. He added that over the past 8 years Russia had made a breakthrough. Putin believes that Russia could meet such targets, but this task requires the support of the whole nation.
