Ukraine, Belarus to resume talks over electricity supplies
RBC, 17.04.2008, Kiev 09:56:57.Ukraine and Belarus are poised to continue electricity supply talks, First Deputy Fuel and Energy Minister Oleg Bugayev said when asked to comment on the information on Belarus's refusal to buy electric energy from Ukraine. He confirmed that the two parties are still firm on their positions, as Belarus is not ready to buy electricity at the suggested price, and Ukraine cannot sell it cheaper. However, the two countries are both interested in supplying electricity to the Baltic via Belarus.
