RosUkrEnergo to be removed from Ukrainian gas supplies
RBC, 28.03.2008, Kiev 17:36:42.RosUkrEnergo is to be excluded from the chain of gas supplies to Ukraine, the country's Prime Minister Yulia Timoshenko was cited by RBC Ukraine as saying today. The PM commented on the statement made by Deputy Chairman of Gazprom's Management Committee Alexander Medvedev that the situation concerning RosUkrEnergo had yet to be solved. UkrGaz-Energo does not participate in gas supplies any longer, and the other intermediary will be removed in the near future, Timoshenko noted. She pointed out that the move would not result in a rise in the gas price for Ukraine, as the country had an agreement on the gas price for 2008.
