Russia views Georgia's actions as dangerous
RBC, 28.03.2008, Moscow 14:39:31.Russian Foreign Minister Sergei Lavrov believes that Georgia's attempts to win NATO support for the military settlement of the Abkhazia and South Ossetia conflicts are dangerous. Lavrov made this statement following today's meeting of the CIS Council of Foreign Ministers. In such situations, a solution must be found that could satisfy all involved parties, including people living on the disputed territories, the official said. Lavrov also pointed out that NATO's expansion plans by means of attracting CIS countries to the alliance was "old logic" and threatened global security.
