Wimm-Bill-Dann posts higher net profit
RBC, 28.03.2008, Moscow 12:32:53.Wimm-Bill-Dann Foods' underlying net profit under US GAAP grew 29 percent to $140m in 2007 compared to a year earlier, Russia's leading dairy product and beverage manufacturer reported today. Net profit including the impact of special charges jumped 46.8 percent to $95.4m, while revenue went up 38.4 percent to roughly USD 2.438bn. Gross profit rose 37.9 percent to $783.4m, underlying operating profit increased 24.5 percent to $214m. Underlying EBITDA climbed 28.3 percent to $300.5m, while EBITDA including the impact of special charges added 37.9 percent, reaching $218m.
